Bad Boy!!
Weekend updates March 16-18
1. Jason after his bath...he had a rough time this weekend with fever and night waking. Maybe cutting his two year molars?
2. Morgan Grace petting a baby calf at the Star of Texas Rodeo. We had to leave early because Jason was sick, but she did get to do a pony ride, as well as ride the ferris wheel and merry-go-round.
3. Morgan and Chloe at Petsmart.

Zoo Pics
Here is Morgan with her friend Isabel. They liked the Tigers the best! We visited Bobby Baylor the former Baylor Bear that lived on campus when Michael and I were there. Sorry, no pic. Jason did ok in the stroller as long as he had snacks. Once those were gone, however, he was out of there. He ran and ran and ran until he found the monkeys. He just kept looking at them saying "EEE-EEE" over and over. I think he really felt connected!

Weekend Highlights
Jason and Morgan both got haircuts this weekend. It was Jason's third time and Morgan's first professional cut. The place we go has movies at each little station (Jason was watching Thomas the Train) and little cars or fire trucks for them to sit in and drive while they get their hair cut. It's the only way to go for little boys! Morgan got the full salon treatment with shampoo and conditioner and blow dry. She watched a Barbie Princess movie.

Weekly Updates
1. The Romanian team left Texas after a full week of work, sight-seeing, and lots of eating! A few places they experienced - Salt Lick, Hula Hut, Moonshine, Waterloo Records, Elephant Room, 6th street, Wal-Mart, Fry's Electronics, Barton Creek Mall, San Marcos Outlet Mall, Whole Foods, CVS, the Capitol, Bob Bullock Museum and more! They were all three delightful and gracious and absolutely adored Morgan and Jason. Their word for Jason in Romainian was...Nasturol (mispelled) - which means "rascal" in english. They said Morgan was the most beautiful thing they saw in Austin.
2. Morgan had her first sleepover - Elizabeth Friesen spent the night because the Romanians had to all sleep over at her house and in her room. The girls did great - with a few exceptions at bedtime. Michael wins the prize for finally getting them to go to sleep!
3. Morgan had a violin lesson this week. She learned how to hold the instrument and the bow. We have to practice everyday!
4. We had a birthday party this week at the brand new Chuck-E-Cheese. I swore we'd never go back after we all got the stomach virus after going last summer. Guess it's unavoidable, though, when your kids get invited. This new one felt a little less germy since it's brand new, but i'm sure it was covered all ready! Jason, of course, ran through the whole facility, climbing on rides, walking on the little bowling lanes, and stealing people's basketballs. Needless to say, I was exhausted after the experience!
5. Last, but not least, we got a new washer and dryer this week! I now have an indoor laundry room (in the red room). The machines are pretty cool - front loading with lots of buttons and dials. Jason already knows how to operate both of them. I still need to watch the CD Rom that teaches you how to use them.

Yippee! Look at me!
OK, here is our new little guy. He wanted to say "hi" to everyone - as you can see from his little waves - and play peek-a-boo as you can see from his little face. The Sonogrammer was tickled to see all of his fingers opened. We giggle at the "bottom's up" picture. Michael says it looks like a baby boy was sat down on a copy machine
- just in case you can't determine from your untrained eye, the picture is labled "boy". Hilarious! These are by far the best sonogram pictures we've had.

My sincerest apologies, dear brother
After all the snickers and eye rolls about B-dub's blog...I've decided to start my own. Mainly to share and record funny and/or meaningful thoughts about my growing clan over here. I'm going to try my best to write frequently. So, my sincerest apologies to my dear brother for not understanding how anyone could possibly make the time to have a blog...I'm jumping on the bandwagon!
